Your Super was born out of a very personal health journey. When co-founders Kristel De-Groot and Michael Kuech received news that Michael had cancer at age 24, health became their top priority. 

In an instant, Michael went from feeling invincible to becoming a statistic. He joined the 1.7 million people in the United States (and 17 million people worldwide) who are diagnosed with cancer every year.

While Michael was recovering from surgery and chemotherapy treatments, Kristel was determined to stay positive and support Michael in any way she could. She began buying bags of superfood powders like maca, wheatgrass, barley grass, chia seeds, spirulina, lucuma, and flax seeds and began making superfood blends to help Michael build up his immune system and restore his strength. 

“I’ve been obsessed with health and nutrition ever since I was a kid. I learned from a very young age that your diet and lifestyle have such a big impact on the way you look and feel,” said Kristel.

After his energy levels increased and he began feeling stronger, the founders knew they had to share the power of plants with the world. They made it their personal mission to educate and inspire people to fuel their bodies with the best natural whole foods. 

What Are Superfoods? 

Superfoods support distinct issues like digestion, hormonal and hormonal imbalance (PMS and menopause, anyone?) to skin, hair, nail health, and more.
