We get it. Sometimes you want a nice hot meal. Here are our tips on heating up your Thistle meal. It's so quick and easy and you can still enjoy your meal within a few minutes.
- We recommend using a teflon-free, non-stick pan (such as a ceramic-coated pan), or a well-seasoned cast iron pan.
- By using non-stick pans, no additional oil needs to be used while warming Thistle meals. Generally, sauces should be added towards the end of heating to ensure sauces do not cause sticking of ingredients.
- We suggest heating a pan over medium heat and using about a teaspoon of olive oil to sauté the base of the meal (greens, grains, legumes, and veggies).
- Sauté until the greens have wilted and the rest of the ingredients are warmed through - takes 3-5 minutes, stirring every so often to prevent the ingredients from sticking.
