Summary

We are exploring more sustainable packaging options, but in the meantime, here's how you can recycle and upcycle our current packaging.

What’s inside your delivery bag or delivery box is important to us. We know your food sustains you throughout the day. So we think very carefully about the meals that we deliver, and also the packaging for your meals.

We are continuing to explore new and more sustainable packaging for your meals. While plastic is not ideal, we use plastics that are BPA-free and also most easily recycled.

Here’s the info on our current packaging - what it’s made of and how to recycle it. We also included some fun ideas on how to upcycle our containers. If you’re upcycling our containers, share your ideas with us on Instagram or our Facebook Group.

Meals: soups and jarred salads
PET plastic: 100% recyclable
Ideas: upcycle into planters for succulents or other short plants
(remember to make holes in the bottom so plants can properly drain)

Meals: snack plates (like the cashew pub cheese, mezze plate, dolma snack plate)
PET plastic: 100% recyclable
Ideas: Separate sections make it a great paint pallet or organizer for your kid’s craft table

Meals (left): muffins, oatmeal
PET plastic: 100% recyclable
Ideas: Pack easy-to-grab snacks, like granola and dried fruit

Meals (middle + right): jarred salads and soups
PETE plastic: 100% recyclable
Ideas: Store and organize pantry items - they're easy to stack

Our other packaging is also easily recyclable:

Meals: lunches + dinners
PET plastic: 100% recyclable

Meals: dinner stews + taco kits
Polypropylene: 100% recyclable (these are also dishwasher and microwave safe!)
